April 04, 2012 – 5-7:30 p.m. Diversity Speed Networking Event

The event is structured so that first year students from diverse backgrounds will have an opportunity to network with lawyers from LAALRA member law firms. In the spirit of inclusion, diversity can be defined broadly to include diversity in the context of race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion, economic status, and disability. During the first hour, law students will have the opportunity to spend eight minutes each with six different attorneys in a speed networking environment. The lawyers will remain seated, and every eight minutes, law students will move on to another position and another lawyer.
